A rainy day drive...

We took a drive yesterday, took advantage of the speed and the rain to get a few shots, taken through the windshield with my canon 70 x 200mm lens...we see many big trucks on the highways due to the railway being shut down years ago, trucks are the only means of transportation of goods into and out of the north..

  3. Nice shots! I took a lot of shots of trucks when we were on the Alcan. Well, the road is just so long that anything different needs to be captured and there are a whole lot of trucks that go up and down that road. We aren't totally dependent on the truckers here as the train does run from here south to Anchorage, but I think more stuff is barged from Seattle and then trucked up from Anchorage.
