Gray Jay close ups...

Went over to Hersey Lake, yesterday, and got a few of this Gray Jay, sometimes called a Whiskey Jack,
when he stopped to pick up the seeds, he lingered longer, (with the peanuts, he grabs one and is gone)
These were taken with my canon 70-200mm lens and I was probably 3-4' away from him. It was a dull day, but I liked these anyway.

  5. Sometimes "dull" days provide very good opportunities. The light's a little softer. Great shots!
