A beaver dam behind the camp..have yet to see any beavers though, that would be a treat !!

Whirlpool Aero Car at Niagara Falls, On...

Although we did not choose to ride this cablecar over the gorge, it was a sight to be seen,
far below the torrents of water abruptly change direction, creating one of the worlds most frightning phenomenon, the Niagara Whirlpool. I am terrified of heights, but many people chose to ride this car back and forth over the gorge.

Had a few minutes before work this morning, took a few down by the lake, no 'gal's in sight...
"I can't see them anywhere" !!

Loon and Greater Yellowlegs...

Took a drive down by the river this morning,

caught a loon and this pair of "Greater Yellowlegs"

(by my birdbook) have never seen these fellows before,

was quite happy with myself ...

and then they were gone!!

A Water Strider or...

also called a "Skimmer", at a local pond last summer..they are quick !!

Hope to get another chance at a Loon family this year..
