Couldn't resist this, one morning this week, after a fresh snowfall, it was 7: in the morning, hubby went out first and when I seen his footprints, a light went on....I walked the opposite to him..... I just liked it ...went in the front door and back out the back with my camera...just how my mind works sometimes !! :)

A few at Hershey Lake today...

This is a local swimming lake in the summer laid out with great walking trails, in the winter months many people feed the birds and I believe there is an annual bird count done here also.
First time out for me this winter, it was cool at -12 c. but nice to hear the birds chirping and this lonely squirrel squawking at me...

A snow sculpture for the upcoming Winter Olympics...

being held in British Columbia, Canada, in February. This made the second page of our newspaper, very well done, a lot of work went into it, great job to the 'builders' on Hudson Street, Timmins, Ontario

The temperature creeps down...

Recorded this low, the other day.. can't beat it, might as well make a game of it, how low will it go in '10 ~~

A few Still Life photos....

Our photo club has a 'Still Life' challenge, this month, these are a few of my favs that I took,
I was pleasantly surprised at my level of enjoyment I got out of doing these, the weather has not been favorable for outdoor photography, to say the least, so this filled the bill...

A cold January 1st morning..

Although the thermometer showed only -25, the actual with the windchill was -36.
Although a bitter evening for the Olympic flame to pass through Timmins, Shania Twain, did a fine job of carrying the torch.
