We took a drive yesterday with our son and dil..it was a beautiful day...and was enjoyed by all.

Its a rainy day today, I glanced out my kitchen window to see these 3 doves on my clothes line. Sitting 'out the rain' !!

The harbour seals...

Loki and Snorkel, a pair of seals at the Huntsman Marine Aquarium, St. Andrews, New Brunswick. In a temporary aquarium awaiting the building of the new one due to open next summer, 2011, these fellows were so cute and put on a 'show' for us...I have more pics to show
from this aquarium, in another post or two or three... I am such an animal lover, when we travel anywhere, if there is a zoo or the like nearby, I have to visit, and we weren't disappointed. :)

This is just too neat, on the way to camp today, on a rural road, noticed this sweet 'bus shaped'
structure, I can only assume it is for the kiddies to wait for the school bus safely and out of the elements!! too cute!!

Lobster fishing in P.E.I...

This was also a treat for us in P.E. I. while at a wharf, a few boats started taking their turns coming in..

we went up on a bridge crossing the waterway, to a view I will never forget, looking down

we watched the crew unloading the fresh lobsters..they sorted through them, picking the undesirable ones and putting them in a separate tote, but most were accepted and passed..

Here the Ministry of Fisheries officers, not sure if this is the official name of these fellows in that province but they were keeping an eye on goings on, while the lobster are hauled off the boat to...

waiting trucks on the left side..then to be transported to the local restaurants. It was so neat to see the process first hand.

This is just a fun shot of an 'awfully lucky dog'....taken in Ottawa, Ontario, while on our holidays, (yes, I still have some pics from our holidays to post) we were driving and when I seen this, just grabbed the camera and shot~~not a great pic but is a 'fun' one for sure!
