Baby Mallards and more...

A visit to Gilles Lake yesterday was worth the trip. I managed a few cute ones of a new set of ducklings, the others in the first pic are getting big quickly, these juveniles were playing a game of "hide and seek"
"Okay Ready, come find us"..lol

 This baby seems to be saying "whaaaaaaaat"...

on Gilles Lake, the ice is finally almost gone and this couple is looking for a spot to have their babies... a pleasant sight...

Gilles Lake today, the ice is finally breaking up on this small lake in the middle of town, the ducks, pigeons and seagulls love this spot. The kids feed them often and enjoy their antics.
this is the first set of ducks I have seen on there this spring and of course the pigeons keep an eye on everyone in case we drop a bit of food for them...
