Cardinal...

Here is a pic of my first 'cardinal'..there were actually two of them and the other one took off into the bush before I could take a pic, they are beautiful for sure..taken in Goderich, On.
I was happy to get this shot before he was gone too.

    Always nice to get a first. To paraphrase the old adage, a bird in the lens is worth two in the bush.

    I'm so glad you caught him before he disappeared! They are such beautiful birds. We don't have them here. One strayed through here a couple years ago after a big storm blew through. I got some pictures of her on our birdbath. Pretty exciting.
