In Hopewell Cape, near Moncton, in the Bay of Fundy, New Brunswick is the Hopewell Rocks also called the flowerpot rocks. These are rock formations caused by tidal erosion.
Depending on the time of day, you are able to walk down on the beach and enjoy the rocks and ocean.

Wow! What fantastic rock formations! When I looked at the first photo I thought there was a wood carving of a bear. It wasn't until I enlarged the photo that I saw the people. Those rocks are really huge! I can see why they are called the flowerpot rocks. I will definitely make a point of going to see these if we make it to New Brunswick, which I hope to do.
ReplyDeleteI thought the same thing: the one looked like a bear on its haunches. Nice photos!
