Searching for 'ore bodies'...

Caught this helicopter this morning, coming in from doing a geophysical survey.. only had my point and shoot..but neat anyway...

    How would like to be riding on that thing tethered to the copter? Wow, interesting phtoos.

    That is a neat series. I wonder what they do with that thing hanging from the helicopter?

    I think your point and shoot did just fine. I don't like to change lenses too often, so I use my little pocket camera for shots that my zoom lens won't handle.

    Thanks everyone, Mari, I think it picks up a magnetic field which the ore, if any, in the ground, gives off, letting them know there is ore present!
