A favorite bird of mine...

Was out at Hershey Lake today and managed a few shots of this male Pileated Woodpecker,
he was quite comfortable with me in front of him and I enjoyed every minute of it. I did get
other bird pics today too, which I will post over the next few days..

    Wow! These are great shots. I tried to get one of these birds a few months ago, but he spooked way to easily.

    Wow ! I had to look a little further - all your bird photos are superb and these were the icing on the cake, so to speak !
