The return of...

the outside rink!! Love it, driving around this year, I have noticed quite a few of these, and it is nice to see, the kids out skating and playing hockey with their friends...it reminds me of 'my generation'...good times!!

    Never did take up ice skating...I always spent more time on the back of my head than up on the skates!

    Oh what memories! I was recently reminiscing about those outside rinks with a friend. I was a terrible skater but had a lot of fun trying!

    Never had the opportunity to play on the ice; but it looks like fun. No where to ice skate in the South!

    We have a lot of backyard rinks here too. I'll bet they have a few problems with the puck getting stuck in those square corners!
