A few more 'ice crystals'..

A few more pics of the amazing process of the mist freezing at Newpost Falls,
here shows the actual mist, rising off the water, landing on the nearby trees and grasses
and freezing, it is early in the season.
These ice formations are from a stream coming down from the right of the pic and bouncing up onto the nearby branches and freezing.
Here is a fallen tree which is becoming laden with ice...strictly from the mist rising off the raging current and settling on its branches.

  1. Wow, beautiful shots! The falls are gorgeous and the shots of the ice are lovely.

  2. ~~now that's Cold! That first picture is amazing.

  3. Thanks for the nice comments, ladies,
our winter in Northern Ontario is just getting started, promising lots of neat 'snow' shots over the winter for everyone to enjoy !!
