A couple of friends at Cedar Meadows...

These two were enjoying the sun yesterday, and didn't seem to mind the cold temperature, when the second one decided to leave, the other one followed..

  2. These are terrific shots. I enlarged each to have a better look - I'm not noticing the "noise" that I keep reading about.

  4. Thanks everyone!!
Mona, thats good, I haven't seen a problem.
Mari, thanks, it is a bit harder in the winter,
to find things to shoot, but I do enjoy a lot of the winter 'scenes' we have too.

  6. That "noise" they are talking about usually happens with Low Light conditions.....there's plenty of light in these two shots. It's when you shoot near sundown or at daybreak if your ISO is not set right you will get "noise" in your pictures for sure.....are you shooting with a point&shoot or a D-SLR?

  7. Hi Susan, I just bought a Canon 60d in the fall, and Mona was inquiring about the noise, as she is also a canon gal, and is looking at upgrading her camera.
Also, I do shoot with a P & S but always mention it in my post when I do use it.
