Good photos. I see you have the pesky Grackles too. They're pretty bossy, sneaky, and a very intelligent bird. They drive me crazy with their clever ways of sneaking in to steal all the bird food. Love the bunny photo.
Your photos are excellent and while I don't love the grackles, they have some babies to feed here and are at the feeder all the time. It is helping them a lot as they don't have to go far and search high and low for something to feed them.
The Blue Jay babies are fledged and following mom and pop around and they are here most days in the morning and evening looking for peanuts to eat.
Before the grackles were the starlings. I have them still but they have already brought their baby starlings around and now they are larger than their parents. I got some good photos of them on My Birds Blog if you like birds.
Nice photos! I'm glad to see you were able to get such a good shot of your showshoe hare. He looks to be pretty much into his summer colors. I haven't seen the hares in our yard again. That one day it seemed like every time I turned around there they were hopping someplace or other. We're having warmer weather again and that means more time sitting on the deck. Hopefully we'll see them again.
I had to come back to thank you for the visit and comment about the Pileated Woodpecker. I keep following one along a nearby creek and have yet to actually see him. I can hear him. So my goal is to get a picture of him if I can. The one I got and about 40 others were taken under some trying conditions and the one you liked was taken as the bird flew up and over my head. Thanks again.
