Yes, this and the bee were taken this morning, I guess they were protected enough, it was just below freezing too,that morning, so maybe not enough to do a lot of damage..
My sunflowers were like this -- all fuzzy -- earlier this summer. Now they are spent and gone. Oh well, there is next summer as soon as we get through this coming winter.

You said you had a frost. Was this taken after that? It's always a race on late blooms once you start to get frost at night.
