A girlfriend and I took a walk at Kettle Lake Provincial Park today...she noticed this small garter snake on the path ahead of us...although I am not fond of snakes at all, I do enjoy coming across one when I have my camera with me.. :) It slithered into the grasses but not before we got a few pics ...
I am wife, mother, nana, friend, head-chef, fledgling fotographer who eats and sleeps fotography !!
It is a constant in my life…love birds, bugs, animals, flowers,
themes, such as reflection, shadows, still life and macro..just about anything catches my eye…it's an obsession !!
In June/13 we moved from Northern Ontario to Goderich, On,the photo ops are endless,
we love this area, come along and follow my endless day trips with me..
And click on pics to enlarge !!
Garter snakes are ok, but they still move pretty fast for me!
ReplyDeleteGreat captures !
ReplyDeleteI think the ones around here are thinking of hibernating - getting quite cool at night (4C), and not much warmer today (12C).
Boy that is one red tongue! Nice shots.
