Have been eyein' this baby since before it came out, today is our anniversary and hubby said 'go for it'...he says 'a happy wife...a happy life'...lol.... a few test shots in the back yard today with my new Canon 60d !!
I've been watching the latest in Canon developments too. I see where they came out with the 60D. I like my 40D pretty well. What lens were you using for these shots? They're very crisp and nice!
Your 40d is awesome Mona!! Or better yet, YOU are awesome, I had the Canon 450d and was looking to upgrade, I did look at the 7d but I felt it was just too much camera for me, I think this one will fit the bill.. these pics were taken with the canon 18x200is that I got with it, haven't tried my own lens on it yet, hopefully tomorrow...
These are fantastic shots! I am so jealous. My Canon Rebel XT does a good job, but there have been so many upgrades I am thinking of asking Santa for a new toy.
Thanks Mari and Elaine. Yes, there have been so many upgrades, hard to keep up too, and new technology too. There will be a learning curve to this one but I am excited. :)
Thanks for your response....I had been thinking about the Rebel T2i, as it's smaller and lighter than the 40D, which can get quite heavy for me at times, esp. w/a big lens on it. But then I went to Amazon, and dpreview.com and did some reading about the two. Would probably skip the Rebel and get the 60D if I had a choice. Have fun with your new toy, and keep us posted!
I am wife, mother, nana, friend, head-chef, fledgling fotographer who eats and sleeps fotography !!
It is a constant in my life…love birds, bugs, animals, flowers,
themes, such as reflection, shadows, still life and macro..just about anything catches my eye…it's an obsession !!
In June/13 we moved from Northern Ontario to Goderich, On,the photo ops are endless,
we love this area, come along and follow my endless day trips with me..
