A young Woodland Caribou...at Cedar Meadows Wildlife Park...

This fellow was so friendly, he is a young one and very trusting..
I caught a few of him, was right at the fence with me and loving the attention...
I loved this one when I downloaded it, wish it was clearer, couldn't focus in the bright sun with my p&s... love the 'eye' !!

Mari, I am very lucky to have Cedar Meadows Wildlife park to shoot pics at for sure, gives me
an opportunity to see wildlife, I probably would never see otherwise!! There isn't a zoo for hundreds of miles so this place is great for the kids in the area too!!

  5. Very cute! The first reindeer calf of the year was born Wednesday at the University Experimental Farm. They are expecting about 20 more calfs.
