I had placed birdseed in the small hanging feeder, this fellow found it and was having a ball....he was constantly swaying the tree and feeder but these pics show how he was enjoying the seeds !! He would swing down, grab some seeds, swing back up, eat them and then come down for more !! So cute to watch...

Sorry to tease you, I did get a few pics but they are lousy as it was there and then gone, I thought it was just a Hairy or a Downy WP but when I got home and seen the red chin also, I realized that it was a different one, and according to my books this is what it is.!! I have never seen one before, can't wait to go back in the next few days and see if I can see it again..it was a real treat for me !!

I love this sign, fits us perfectly !! ha !! He just sat and watched up hoping I would give him a carrot, I guess !! I will take some the next time we go out..
Notice the feet are still quite white but changing its colors slowly..
Blondie playing peek and boo with me, she wouldn't move back so I could get a pic of her, check out the 'whites' of her eye !! :) Mr and Mrs. Duck of this year...mallards have such pretty coloring !!

Just got home from camp, (opening it up), weather is not co-operating so came home for a few days. Put a new niger seed sock up and are the Pine Siskins ever thankful !! Will be busy over the next 4-5 days, then should be free for pic taking again !!
This Swan, probably the same one as the other day, but there is a pair of them there, was quite interested in me and wasn't too concerned that I was as close as I could get to him, he just wanted a snack !!
This fellow thought I was pretty interesting, he only had one leg and hobbled around on it, and was checking me out !!
Haha!! Not sure if this is a Mothers day peck on the cheek,
or he was telling her to "shut the ... up "!! sweet anyway, eh !!
And leaving the best for last, this is a Yellow-shafted Northern Flicker,
possibly a juvenile, I think a female, she was very vocal and let me take lots of shots of her before leaving !!
All in all, got some nice ones on Mothers Day !! I was elated !! :)
