Jellyfish in P.E.I.

These fellows were abundant on the shores of some wharfs we visited, we were told they will sting you...we didn't get too close :)

    Nice captures of a strange creature! I've heard as well that they are to be avoided due to their stings.

    You did a great job of capturing them!
    I've seen them dead along the shores, but never saw one alive swimming along. Yes, watch where you step and swim.

    I've seen jellyfish at aquariums, but I don't believe I've ever seen them in their natural habitat. Nice photos.

    Nice captures, and wise to avoid them. I recall being stung by one many years ago - just barely brushed it in the water.
