A Mallard waiting for corn...

Took a walk at Gilles Lake tonite, it was a beautiful evening, there are many ducks here and people feed them corn and bread etc. They actually become quite comfortable with people around all the time, and it is great for the kids to get close to nature. Taken just before dusk..

    Mallards are so friendly--well, as long as they think there might be some food to be had. Very nice photo!
